Nick has an Engineering degree and has had an extensive and successful governance career as Chairperson of organizations as diverse as;
- Statewide Superannuation Trust (SA),
- Renew Adelaide (current),
- Adelaide Central Market Authority,
- Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation,
- New Venture Institute (Flinders University),
- Australian Centre for Plant Functional Genomics.
Nick has also been a Director of the following entities;
- Carina Biotech (current),
- Business SA,
- Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
- Flinders University Council,
- Environment Protection Authority (SA),
- Australia Day Council (SA),
- Australian Institute of Company Directors (SA).
Along the way, Nick has been listed as being one of the top 50 persons of influence in SA, one of the Top 50 persons of influence in Food in SA, awarded a Doctorate (honoris causa) from Flinders University and appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia, the second highest national civilian honour.
